Care & Maintenance Of Your Woodturned Piece
Display only:
-Wipe off dust with a clean towel or cloth.
-Products such as Pledge work fine if you spray them onto a cloth first, wipe the product
on and then immediately wipe off the excess as you buff the piece.
-Enjoy!
Food Use:
-Only put “dry” food into the piece such as: chips, muffins, candy, mashed potatoes,
grilled chicken/steak, etc. Never liquids such as: soup, jello or soaking in water for
cleaning, etc.
-Only use plastic or wooden utensils against the piece, no metal.
-Hand wash with warm water, dish soap and a sponge/cloth, then towel dry.
-NEVER wash in a dishwasher!
NOTE: As with most wood products, if this piece is subject to sunlight on a regular basis,
the wood will darken over time. This is a desirable effect, but only if it is evenly changed so
you will need to rotate the piece periodically.
