I'm a member of the Northcoast Woodturners here in Ohio, and a couple of times a year they have a professional turner in-house to demonstrate their signature style of turning. This month was Alan Holler, he specializes in footed bowls and vessels.

The great thing about the club is members are offered a one day class the following day! I took advantage of this and here is what I made...a little rough as I didn't bring any sandpaper, but I was pretty happy to learn this new technique.
